Cloud Nine hair straighteners can be repaired for £39.95

If you wish to send your Hair Straighteners away for repair then we can offer a complete hair straightener repair service for ALL Cloud Nine irons including C9-T1.0 'The Touch'. Note this service is aimed at 'faulty' irons - not for broken or missing parts. Please contact with regards to cosmetic issues prior to purchase.

The flat rate of £39.95 includes all electrical parts (not cosmetic) labour, packaging and return postage. Postage is usually Royal Mail Tracked 48, please ask if you prefer return using 'Special Delivery' (£5 surcharge, this will be invoiced separately ). The only thing that is not included is if a replacement arm (casing) is required due to breakage. I now ONLY have arms (casing) available for model C9-T1.0 ('The Touch'), and the surcharge is £25 each for these. Other than that there are no hidden part costs.

All repair work comes with a 2 month warranty against the same problem occurring again (same component/s failing)

Irons repairable are:

C9-T1.0

C9-M1.0

C9-L1.0

C9-M1.1

C9-L1.1

C9-M1.2

C9-L1.2

C9-M1.3

C9-L1.3

C9-J1.0 (limited spares)

If you send irons not listed above then I can have a look and make an attempt if the fault/s appear fixable, but no guarantee of success can be offered. They can be returned and refunded (less postage) if deemed un-repairable.

The process for sending your straighteners for repair involves three simple steps:

Step1

Purchase this item from our shop.

If you would rather not make payment over the internet in advance, just print and complete this form (or make sure you include all these details on a piece of paper - this is IMPORTANT!) and include it with your Cloud Nine's.

If you are sending a cheque please make payable to "M T Briscombe"

Step 2

Pack your Cloud Nine's in a jiffy bag with some bubble wrap so that they don't get damaged in the post. Try to keep the plug away from the plates as the metal pins can easily damage the coating. Include a copy of your order number, name and what the problem is or complete the form mentioned in step 1.

**Please DO NOT send irons in their original (heavy) boxes or with any accessories as these increase the cost of the postage and we are unable to return them without charging a little extra for the increased postage**

Step 3

Pop the package in the post to the following address:

Cloud Nine Repair
15 Rochester Row
Ceretic Park
Sherburn-in-Elmet
North Yorkshire
LS25 6FZ

We recommend you use a recorded postal service to avoid your irons getting lost in the post.

Please Note:

In the unlikely event that your Cloud Nine are beyond repair/economic repair you will be refunded (less return postage), or in full if you don't wish them returning, or you will be offered an alternative.

The service covers faults incurred during regular use, not misuse.

White C9-T1.0 'The Touch' irons... If your  irons require a new mains-cable, then a black one will be fitted, these look fine as the plates, text and trimmings are black!

FAQ

How long will it take?
Your irons should be returned to you within 3-5 working days from the day you post them.

Can I pay with PayPal?
Yes - order the repair via our shop and you can choose to pay with PayPal.

I'm not in the UK - can you send my Cloud Nine's back to an overseas address?
Yes! Please contact us for a quote.

Although we have never had a pair of irons go missing, or become broken/damaged on their return, it's worth noting that the return service provider will only consider themselves liable for the cost of service (purchase price), and NOT the cost of the irons, this is because we can't prove the content of the parcel. Please bear this in mind when purchasing.

Warranty returns: Postal cost of return for repair is stood by the customer, return to customer is incurred by us.

If you have model C9-M1.2 or C9-L1.2 with a loose or jammed mains-switch then note this is a common fault, caused by a revised circuit-board fitted by Cloud Nine. This seems to affect irons produced between [approx] 2017 and 2021. Cloud Nine are now fitting a different circuit-board and this issue has ceased. You are welcome to forward your irons if affected with this issue, but please note that the problem is likely to return, even in the short-term. Because of this, the warranty does not cover this situation, but you are welcome to return your straighteners for attention, and there is a nominal charge of £20. A work-around is to have the main-switch removed, and the switch bypassed, this means that on/off is achieved at the mains-socket! I don't have replacement switches or a PCB, so your switch will be repaired unless you ask fir it bypassing.

Parts are limited for model C9-J1.0 (micro iron), we are happy to have a look, and if repairable then the work will be attended. These can be returned if irreparable and refunded, less the cost of return postage.

When your postage label is purchased we mark as 'shipped', note that actual postage will likely be on the next business day.

**WE ARE RECEIVING AN INCREASING NUMBER OF IRONS WITHOUT ANY SENDER DETAILS WITH THEM. THESE ARE BEING SENT WITHOUT A NAME, ADDRESS, EMAIL, PHONE-NUMBER, POSTCODE - AND WITHOUT A RETURN ON THE PACKAGE! NOTE THAT TO BE ABLE TO MARRY THE IRONS WITH THE SENDER WE WILL NEED EITHER THE TRACKING-NUMBER, A COPY OF THE POST-OFFICE 'CERTIFICATE OF POSTING' OR THE SERIAL-NUMBER OF THE IRONS. THESE ARE THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE MEANS OF IDENTIFICATION. TELLING US THAT THEY WERE IN A BROWN ENVELOPE / HAVING BUBBLE-WRAP / HAVE TAPE WRAPPED-AROUND ETC DOESN'T HELP (MOST IRONS ARRIVE IN SUCH A MANNER YOU'LL UNDERSTAND). PLEASE, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR DETAILS**
